It seems all spooky with its talk of the 'Society of Enigmas', what could be more fun? After playing an episode, I was curious as to what the game was really all about. Based on a short lived Canadian television program aimed at teens to teach science and biology, it becomes a lot less interesting. Broken into 13 'episodes', the game can be broken up into several sittings with ease.

Now I know what you're thinking, Sudoku? Lame. Not really. On top of being a brain exercise, and relaxing, these games are genuinely great to pass free time. The Thing though about this Sudoku platform that stands out is all the options you have to mix it up! From two different sized practice boards (4x4 & 6x6) to four degrees of difficulty (easy, medium, hard, & challenging) it should keep you entertained. You also have the option to do all four difficulties in a row for a real test of skills or to even change from the traditional number layout to Japanese Kanji, or Sushi.

Bomb It is one in a growing trend of Flash games based off of classic SNES-era games. What makes it worthwhile is that it's very effective in emulating its predecessor, the Bomberman series. However, it does not take the easy route of simply imitating the game down to the last detail. It brings a number of interesting new ideas to the table, and a catchy visual style.

Orbus Impetus seems to be following a growing trend of arcade minigames that feature multicolored circles, squares, and stars as their main point of interest. I mean, I know they're easy to draw and everything, but it feels like I'm playing the same games just with a different spin each time. Orbus Impetus is by no means a bad game, but I just wish it would have done something to differentiate itself from games like it.

Sudoku is just one of those unexplainable fads that comes and spreads like crazy. The actual game of Sudoku has been around since 1986 (Thanks Wikipedia) but before 2005 if you wanted to play a ‘Sudoku' game people would have no idea what you're talking about. But now it's here, and there's no surprise that we have flash games to satisfy the online craving for Sudoku.
